Dirty Little Secret #1 - 2/2/12
Dirty Little Secret is a weekly meme hosted by us at Under the Covers. Every Thursday we get to know other bloggers and our readers more intimately by asking them a question hoping to reveal their dirty little secrets. We hope that you will all join us!
If you could travel back in time, what era would you like to find yourself in and why?
Anna's Answer:
It's hard to pick one because there are two specific time periods that I love but if I have to choose one era it would have to be the Viking Era. Norsemen were mighty and brutal warriors. They wanted something, they took it...by force if necessary (which most certainly was in those days I'm sure). They crafted beautiful ships and went on long voyages because they wanted to explore everything. To live through that time, to have seen it, would be incredible.
FranJessca's Answer:
Definitely a hard question this week, since I would want to travel to back to several eras. The Era I definitely would love to go to and haven't read about in awhile...is the Egyptian (Pharaoh) time. I think my goals would be to find out what actually happened to King Tut and also find out who actually created the pyramids (you know how historians always come up with something different every year...LOL and they have their own theories). I've personally been fascinated with the beauty of that era since I was a child. I would love to read a love story from that era.

Two great answers. I think Norsemen would be a too wild for me. Wouldn't want to be a woman living in that period. And I never thought about Egypt at all, guess I don't read a lot of books in that era either.

I would love to travel to Egypt...and see the ancient pyramids. What a great era.
Love these answers. And Egypt would be a wonderful place to visit! All that power!
