Real Men Will by Victoria Dahl - Reviewed by Anna
Real Men Will
Author: Victoria Dahl
Series: Donovan Brothers
Publisher: HQN
Release Date: October 25, 2011
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Edition: Kindle Ebook
Source: NetGalley
Rating: 5 Stars
Buy: Amazon and Barnes & Noble
Eric Donovan has been running a business and raising his 2 younger siblings since he was 24, when his parents both died in a car wreck. Now that both Tessa and Jamie are in their own relationships and Jamie has taken on his part in the brewery Eric is no longer in charge. He finds he has lost his place in his family and has nothing special to live for, until Beth comes back into his life.
Beth Cantrell is the manager of the White Orchid, an erotic boutique that sells anything from sexy langerie to sex toys. She finds herself lonely and unsatisfied and that's why she lets herself have one night with Jamie Donovan. When she runs into him months later there is still a spark between them. But then she finds out the man she thought was Jamie Donovan is actually Eric, but confronting him about it doesn't seem to stop that spark, it only makes it worse.
Together, yet apart, they work on trying to find themselves. Will Eric find he has no place in his families brewery and will Beth finally stand up to her past?
This was a wonderful ending to a great series! The whole story was incredibly charming. Eric seemed so lost in himself and Beth just couldn't get the control over her fears that she needed. But together they seemed perfect! Life just kept dealing out these frustrating blows but they seems to work through them and come out better people.
It was really nice to see the whole family getting along, finally! I'm very sad to see this series end but extremely excited for it to end so Dahl can give us another fantastic series! Please Victoria, we need more!!!
I give this book 5 stars! Can't to read what she comes up with next!
Happy Reading,
Anna
