Kissn' Tell Kick Off Blog Hop

Welcome to our stop on the Kissin' Tell Kick Off Hop hosted by the lovely ladies at Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews and Under the Covers Book Blog.  We're celebrating the upcoming new release to the Rough Rider Series, "Kissn' Tell" by Lorelei James that comes out June 26th.
Here you'll read the book synopsis, my review of Kissn' Tell, an excerpt from the book "Kissn' Tell", and of course enter for your chance to win some amazing prizes.
The Grand Prize is a Kindle Fire or Nook Color (Reader's Choice), compliments of the wonderful Author, Lorelei James.  =)

Kissn' Tell
(Rough Riders #13)
by: Lorelei James
Publishing Date: 6/26/12
Publisher: Samhain Publishing, Ltd

She once led him around by a string. Now he’s the one holding the reins.

Georgia Hotchkiss swore wild horses couldn’t drag her back to Sundance, Wyoming. So it’s ironic she’s forced to take a rodeo PR job in her former hometown—right before her ten-year class reunion. The only thing worse than facing her cheating ex-husband and his pregnant wife? Showing up to the reunion without a date. Fate smiles on her when she runs into her former classmate and current cowboy hottie Tell McKay. With his infectious smile and fun-loving ways—not to mention his banging body—he’s the perfect solution to her problem.

Tell McKay had it so bad for Hot Lips Hotchkiss during high school that he let her run roughshod over him. But he is no longer that easily manipulated boy—these days he’s earned a reputation with the ladies that lives up to the McKay last name. He agrees to escort her to the reunion with one stipulation; that Georgia proves she has left behind the goody-goody cheerleader of the past—by sharing his bed.

Their sexual chemistry flashes so bright, they barely notice that the reunion has come and gone, and now they’re tangled up in another dreaded “R” word—relationship. But if Tell wants to get the girl this go-around, he’ll have to come up with a whole new set of knots to tie up her heartstrings.

Warning: Contains a sweet talkin’ wild cowboy with a wagon load of crazy-hot sex fantasies and the mad bedroom skills to back up his claims.

My Review:
This was one HOT, Steamy, Sexy, Western Romance Book...that I had a hard time putting down.  I found myself fanning myself several times during parts of the book that was really EROTIC.  OMG!
Lorelei James is one author who can make a "Book Mama" smile, giggle, and squirm.
Here's a tip for ALL the men out there...sex on a trampoline will do things to your body parts that will hurt.  =)
Oh...and now I'm craving ice cream thanks to this darn book.
Georgia Hotchkiss (aka...Hot Lips to the guys back in high school) is one female character who has gone through hell.  Here's some obstacles in her life she's having to deal with:  her ex-husband is a douche, her Dad is naive when it comes to Georgia's ex-husband, and her Mom...well...there's something going on with her that's she's not sure about.  Then there's the fact she lost her twin-brother after they graduated high school.  She never expected the hottie who sat behind her in History class would come back in her life and change her world.
Tell McKay, he's known to be a ladies man after graduating high school.  He's following in the McKay guy tradition in the family.  He's not ready to settle down at all.  He has his own issues he's dealing with:  his Mom thinks he has no life, his brothers like to use him, and his Dad is a jerk from hell.
He never thought the girl of his fantasies from high school who he sat behind in history class would come back into Sundance, Wyoming.  Georgia "Hot Lips" was his teen fantasy.  He always loved her, but could never be near her because of her a-hole boyfriend, Deck (who ended up being her ex-husband).
Now is Tell's chance to finally get his chance with Hot Lips due to the high school reunion coming up.  Georgia needs a date and Tell wants to show everyone, especially Deck that people can change.
My thoughts on "Kissin' Tell" is that I enjoyed every minute of it.  Like I stated above, I had a hard time putting it down.  I loved Tell and his dom ways.  He took control in the bedroom.  The things he did...Wow!!
I loved Georgia and how willing she was to do anything with and for Tell.  She was kind of a wild woman.  Tell had to actually tame her, which I thought was funny.
I loved the storyline of "Kissin' Tell". I actually cried in certain parts of the book because I felt the emotion of the characters.  Both Tell and Georgia had a life changing event happen to them and they both were able to be there for each other and help cope with their losses.
I love Lorelei Jame's writing style and I definitely loved how she wrote the steamy scenes between the characters.  I've never read a book that involved ice cream in a scene and a trampoline in a different scene.  Yes...I typed, trampoline.  I still can't stop thinking about both of those sex scenes...and those were just two.  There are plenty more between Tell and Georgia that will have you curling your toes with excitement.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves reading western romance, erotica, and of course those ladies who love cowboys.  This book definitely will make you want to "ride a cowboy instead of a horse".  =)
Be prepared for some mind-blowing sex scenes that will probably have you fantasizing your own sexual fantasies after you read this book.  =)

Excerpt:

Tell McKay had a boner.
In history class.
At least it hadn’t happened in math, where he’d have to stand at the board to solve a problem and then everyone could see…his problem.
His cheeks burned imagining how much that would suck.
He shifted in his seat and blamed his situation on the distraction seated in front of him.
The oh-so-hot, oh-so-out-of-his-league, sweet, sexy and amazingly perfect class beauty, Georgia Hotchkiss.
Yeah, Georgia was always on his mind.
She was something else. A petite powerhouse. The ultimate diversion. Those damn short, damn tight cheerleading skirts that showcased her athletic body. If he angled his head to the side, he caught a glimpse of her muscular thigh instead of the back of her head. Not that the view was bad. Her hair was as black and shiny as a crow’s wing in the sun. Add in her china white skin, full ruby lips and Georgia could be a modern day Snow White.
You’re a real poet, McKay. More like a fuckin’ pervert. Think about something else.
“Tell?”
Startled by the husky rasp of his name, he glanced up from his notebook, right into pale, icy blue eyes that made him stammer like a fool. “W-what?”
“Did you do the homework assignment?”
Be cool. Do not imagine Hot Lips Hotchkiss whispering that in your ear. “Yep.”
Her mouth curved into a smile. He wondered if the gloss glistening on her lips was flavored. Would it taste like bubblegum? Peaches? Ripe black cherries?
“Thank God. Can I copy it?”
Tell managed to rip his focus from her plump lips. Before he could speak, she cranked the charm on high.
“Please? You let me do it before. And I didn’t have time because I was…”
Sucking face with your asshole boyfriend?

Oh that sounds excellent! I've only read book one and one of the short stories so far and really enjoyed both. I've got so much reading to do to catch up with this series! It's going to kill me not reading this one right away and finding out about that trampoline. That's definitely a first!

Haven't read any of her books, but they do look really good.

My favorite book is Cowgirl Up and Ride. I love AJ's devotion to Cord. The bachelorette party is such a hoot. I can see some of the older ladies from my town acting like that.

Blogger lost my first comment. I love Cord's story. He was determined to never fall in love again. When the right woman comes along he just can't help himself.

My favorites are Cowgirl Up and Ride ( Cord) and Chasing Eight (Chase's) stories. They were both a little more emotional and stuck with me more! But they are all terrific!

I have a soft spot for "Cowgirl Up and Ride," because it was the first book I read by Lorelei. When I found out it was part of a series I forgot all about my kindle spending limit, and bought all the books in the series. "Branded as Trouble" is the book I reread the most. I just love the story of Colt's redemption.
