We do not want to wake up one day and notice that we cannot logon to our blog due to Blogger changing its policies.
We have worked too hard to have that happen...so it is long overdue, we have moved over to our domain.
It will make it easier for YA'LL to find us.
We have already started to post over at the new site...and August 1st will be official day we say GOODBYE to this site for good.

Putting a new spin on an old classic.
Vampires. Smoldering, sexy creatures who can seduce a woman
by driving his canines deep into her neck. Okay, what’s up with that? At some
point, the frightening image of a vampire changed into something desirable. When
I sat down to write the Mageri series, I decide that this book would not
revolve around vampires. It’s difficult to stay fresh with something that has
been written about thousands of times.
So, I chose a Mage. I wanted to discard all of the folklore
about them wearing hooded robes, carrying a giant stick, and mastering sorcery.
If they really did exist and kept themselves hidden from humans, then it’s
quite possible that the only thing we know about them is based on stories and
fiction. What if we had it all wrong because humans did not understand their
power?
Enter Justus De Gradi. A man with pure sex appeal, in more
ways than one. In The Mageri Series, a Mage is able to harness energy. Energy
exists in all living things, and they are beings of energy. They can use it to
heal, and even misuse it to get a high by stealing it from someone else. They
can use energy to move faster and have a sense of direction and time. But the
one unique thing about each Mage is that they all have rare gifts that are separate
from their usual talents. For Justus, he is a Charmer. His energy works as a
magnet and draws women in like moths to the flame. Maybe it’s those cobalt blue
eyes or tribal tattoo circled around his bicep, but he is a Mage with a gift
that many would dream of having.
It also gave me an opportunity to consider different ways to
use energy. There is something very
sensual that a Mage can do with another called “binding”. Think of it as an
exchange of energy between their hands in the rawest form – so powerful that
not even a bed is required. ;-)
The most exciting thing about creating a spin on a
supernatural was doing it in a believable way. In a world where humans have
always had it wrong, and that sometimes what we think we know is only based on
half-truths and stories. As a reader, I don’t always like to know what’s
coming. Not just with the story, but also with the type of characters that I’m
reading about. The Mageri series is a bit of a curve ball when it comes to plot
and supernaturals. I hope that readers will find that yes, there is live after
Vampires.

Down in Texas, there's a woman who drinks copious amounts of vitamin
water placed precariously closed to her laptop. Yeah, I know. I've got a

When I'm not writing (which is all the time), I'm listening to obscure music, watching movies, reading, discovering new ways to humiliate myself bowling, and burning up my laptop battery on the internet. I live with a cat who thinks she is a dog, or a goat (she eats plastic, so I'm not sure which).
Some people count sheep when they have insomnia. My entire life, since I was little, I made up stories in my head. If could bore myself to sleep, then mission accomplished. The problem is, I'd get so wrapped up in my 'head stories' that I didn't fall asleep. Then the next night I would start over and change it up a little to make it more exciting. It never dawned on me until much later that maybe I should pen those down. So I created short stories, and then went on to writing poetry.
Lots and lots of poetry. It's almost embarrassing that I have an entire box loaded with spiral notebooks filled with furious, heartfelt, and blushing words. Apparently, I had a lot to say.
Another one of my hobbies is digital art. I designed all my book covers.
I am finally doing what I have always wanted to: giving my characters a pulse through publishing. I write adult urban fantasy romance, but I don't like labels. I let the story tell itself, and color outside the lines. I am not a YA author, but I think its pretty great that there are so many books available to teens in Urban Fantasy and Paranormal. These are the future readers!
The work that goes behind self publishing is hard work, I won't lie. On top of my regular day job: I write, edit, format, create cover art and market. Who the heck has time to eat?
So wipe your feet, come inside, and make yourself at home.
