Important Announcement for our Followers
I love children, but only have two.
I write under a different name in another genre.
I own five cats (and would have more if I could fit them in my house—I can't say no to kitten eyes.).
I love the warm weather—the hotter the better!
I'm relatively short, only 5'5".
2. What does a typical writing day look for you?
I work at my day job and home school my son in the daytime, so my typical writing day is at night. I usually write for 3-4 hours then before I go to bed.
3. Tell us a little bit about "Blood Prophecy" and why readers should check it out?
Blood Prophecy is the 4th novel in the Sons of Navarus series and a huge turning point in the series. For the first time, Ramiel and Thane leave the monastery to search for the key to solving the Prophecy of Idolas. In addition to the Sons part of the story (which includes a love interest for Ramiel), readers will find out about the other paranormal characters who are set to make their appearance: werewolves, dragon shifters, and witches, along with daemons from the Underworld. It's a big story.
4. How did you come up with the characters names?
I choose names because of their meanings or because of the way they sound. I've loved the name Ramiel since I read it in a book a few years ago, so when it came time to name the hardest and most violent Son, I chose the name that just spoke to me. Ramiel.
5. What kind of research did you have to do for the series?
I research the locales I set each book in, the foods I have characters consume, and even down to the smallest detail, such as does that animal I want to include in a scene actually live in that part of the world. I know the historical backgrounds I give each Son, but I still do some research for those too, and the mythological foundations of the story are things I'm quite familiar with, but every so often I find myself in research for those too.
6. What has been the easiest and hardest scene to write in the series so far?
The easiest scene to write in the Sons series was the first time Vasilije and Sasa got together. Damn, that scene came easy! In fact, that book seemed to flow from my pen. The hardest scene is one I can't say because it's in Blood Prophecy, but I can promise my readers that when I wrote it, I cried like a baby.
7. Who designs the covers to the Sons of Navarus series? (I already know...but some of our readers are anxious to find out who designs those sexy covers)
The incredible Talina Perkins at Bookin It Designs is the mastermind behind the covers. And I mean mastermind. I give her the barest bones about the story, the super hot model I've found, and she creates the covers using her magic. The lady has some serious talent.
8. Fun question: If you could have dinner with one famous person, who would it be and why?
If we're talking living and famous, it would be Stephen King. I like what he has to say about the book business. If we're talking dead famous person, it would be a tie between Alexander Hamilton and William Shakespeare. (The English undergrad and the history prof are fighting it out there.) Either one would be wonderful to meet and talk to.
9. What is up next for Gabrielle Bisset?
As of right now, I don't know. I'm beginning a non-romance project this summer, and everything else is up in the air. Stay tuned.
10. Do you have anything specific you would like to say to your readers?
Just that it's great to hear from them, so please feel free to email at firstname.lastname@example.org

I love the Sons of Navarus they are just totally fantastic to me. Each and every book I fall into (call it my escape from the real world).
