This 4150-word  humorous, sexy, tongue-in-cheek sci-fi short story is for those who want to dip their feet in the wicked world of the Wicked Series and for the fans of the Wicked Series who have wondered how the Galaxy Dancers came to Earth in the first place. Just blame on on a woman’s curiousity and desire for new experiences.

My Review:
"A Wicked Choice" is a very short story that tells readers about the Galaxy Dancers and how they came to Earth in the first place.
I definitely recommend anyone who wants to read the series, to read this short story first.  I am glad I did.
It is a very short read and if you are like me, you will probably want more afterwards, which I'm glad I had the first book in the series as well.  This book just didn't quench my thirst of the series, but it does explain a lot.
I was able to decipher who was the characters in the next book from this short story.
I really liked how Calinda made the short story to be sexy and funny at the same time.  The writing style was kind of confusing, but maybe because it had a science fiction kind of style to it.  I liked it though, but it took me reading over certain parts a couple of times, to understand it fully.
Like I stated before, if you want to read this series than read this short story first...or if you have read the first 3 books than this book will explain on why the Galaxy Dancers are on Earth.
A received a complimentary copy of "A Wicked Choice" for the virtual book tour in exchange for a honest review.

Review: "Vampire, Vampire" by Heather Killough-Walden

Vampire, Vampire
by: Heather Killough-Walden
Publishing Date: 7/12/12
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Source: Provided by Author
Buy Links:  Amazon | Barnes & Noble

Description:
With her latest sizzling release, Vampire, Vampire, New York Times and USA Today bestselling paranormal romance author Heather Killough-Walden shares two scorchingly hot, sweet and savage stand-alone vampire romance novellas.
(Total word count approx. 70,000 words)

In Relentless: The Patrick Sinclaire Story, readers are treated to the re-visioned and border-line erotic telling of the tale of a handsome, world-weary vampire sovereign and the woman he would literally do anything to claim as his queen. Intensely arousing, stimulating, and both emotionally and physically provoking - this is not a story for the shy.

In the completely reconstructed Thorn and Grace, an old tale of historical romance is given a very dark make-over. The story of knight meets maiden becomes twisted and shadowed, be-fanged and fallen. A prince turned predator hunts for the one who has betrayed him, in turn becoming a king corrupted by the bitterness within. Will the one he is hunting escape him? And if she doesn't, will she be able to reach the man inside the monster before it's too late?

My Review:
I received a copy of "Vampire, Vampire" from Heather Killough-Walden as a gift.  I just wanted to say thank you to her much for "Vampire, Vampire".
I enjoyed reading these two vampire romance novellas.  It has been awhile since I read a vampire romance book and these two were definitely a delight to read.  =)
The first story is "Thorn and Grace"...I was mesmerized by the historical and vampire romance that was created.  This was a book about two friends who became lovers, but of course before the happily ever after could happen...something bad happened to Christopher Thorn's bride to be, Darianna Grace.  A very determined lover...he searched for her, but when he did, she did not recognize him.  Now he's determined to find out what happened to her and get her back to the realm that they are supposed to live.
More twists to the fairytale that was supposed to be a happily ever after...throw in the fact that both Thorn and Darianna Grace are royalty and are vampires.  There's also a bad guy in the minced and he's not your normal bad guy either.
"Thorn and Grace" is full of action, love, and passion...and a very mean bad guy who is really dark and twisted.  I still can't believe what he did.
The second story is "Relentless", and it is about Patrick Sinclaire...but he's not your normal rich guy...he's actually a Vampire.  He's not just any Vampire though because he's also known as the "Vampire King."  He has actually found his queen and he wants to claim her, but he is kind of reluctant to do it.  His sisters actually get involved to push him to claim his queen because it has been way too long for the vampires.  They need their queen.  Of course the person who is supposed to be Patrick's queen doesn't even know of the existence of Vampires and she's not really willing to give up her humanity right away.
"Relentless" is full of a intense suspenseful story that definitely captured my attention.
Sometimes the dark and mean characters, like Patrick always capture my attention though.
I recommend this book to any vampire romance reader out there and even to the readers who enjoy the historical thrown into a story.  You will definitely enjoy these two short stories that Heather has created.
I really enjoyed both stories....but "Relentless" got my heart pounding a little more.  I do enjoy though Christopher Thorn in the first story.  *sigh*  He was very determined to find out what happened to his love, Darianna Grace.
Thank you again to Heather Killough-Walden for gifting me a copy.  I can't wait to dive into your next books.  =)

Review - "Stopping Time" by Melissa Marr

Stopping Time
(Wicked Lovely #2.5)
Publishing Date: 4/23/10
Publisher: HarperCollins Publishers
Genre: YA
Source: Kindle Edition (Bought)

Description:
An exciting e-story original sequel to Ink Exchange!
Leslie walked away from the Dark Court, determined to reclaim her life and live it on her own terms-even if it meant leaving behind the two faeries who love her. She knows Niall and Irial watch over her, and she would give almost anything to keep them from hurting. But she resists the pull to be with either one of them.
Someone knows about Leslie-s past, however, and is intent on using her to reach the fey. And he doesn't care who gets hurt.

My Review:
(Originally Reviewed on Mrs. Papillion aka "The Book Worm")
Stopping Time picks up from where Ink Exchange ends. It continues on with Leslie, Irial and Niall. It's just a really short story explaining the dilemma of what Leslie is fighting emotionally with the Fey world. She continues to be watched over by both Irial and Niall even though the connection between her and Irial have been severed. Irial and Niall still have feelings for her and they both wish she would come back to them. Irial of course wants her to choose to be with Niall and Niall wants her to choose to stay with Irial. It likes a difficult love triangle. When Leslie becomes endangered by her brother once again, both fey have to work together to save her. What they don't know is her brother knows about them and wants to exploit them. You basically know that will never happen.
I loved this short story of these 3 because I absolutely adored them in Ink Exchange. I wish Leslie would've chose Niall though and at the end of this book, she kind of does...even if it's for a little while. She loves her life though away from the Dark Court and wants to keep it that way. Both Irial and Niall understand which is one reason why I love these two guys. They don't try to force her.
I look forward to reading the next short story of these characters that Melissa Marr brought out...before I read the next book in the series..."Fragile Eternity". I have to know about the short stories before moving back into the main story again. =)
