Description:
Millionaire Adam Bruno was taken from his people when he was just a young child and he has no memory of those people or the person who took him. He believes that he was abandoned and found by his adoptive father Salvatore. Unbeknownst to him, he's the heir to an ancient race, a race that possesses a dark and powerful magic. They can create energy and shape shift with that magic. Adam's gifts make him a powerful weapon if he can't learn to control that power and there are plenty of enemies who would love to have that kind of power on their side. Just when he finds someone who he can actually connect with those enemies threaten to take that away from him.

Bobby Carerra is an Iraq veteran, wounded while there. She is now home recovering and trying her best to get on with her life, a life she would like to keep peaceful now that she's out of the war. But as soon as she sees Adam Bruno she's sucked into another world. A world of terrifying paranormal enemies and abilities. She doesn't understand anything about Adam's powers but she's so drawn to him that it doesn't really matter. And he is in turn drawn to her by her intoxicating energy. Together they take on the people who are out to use Adam against his own people and finally learn who and what Adam really is.

Review:
I loved this book! Finally something different!!! I love shifters but they start to get old after reading countless books with basically the same outline. This book was thankfully much different than any other shifter book I've ever read. The whole light hunter thing confused me in the beginning, I can't tell you why it just did. Maybe because I was confusing the light hunters with the shadow hunters, it took me a while to remember who was who but now that I've got it I can't wait to read the next book.

Adam and Bobby were great characters, both very strong willed and courageous people. It's always refreshing to read about two strong characters because they're hard to come by. Bobby and Adam were definitely a match made in heaven too. They just fit! From the moment they lock eyes I was rooting for them to get together and stay together. lol

I would recommend this book to pretty much anyone who like PNR. Trust me on this, it's worth the time to read it. I promise!!! I give this book 5 Stars!!!

Happy Reading,
Anna
