So upon waking up in his bed naked with a naked Alani next to him with no memory of anything he and she had done he’s faced with a dilemma he doesn’t know how to handle. He can’t even remember her coming over, much less ending up in his bed so he knows something is up but the question is….what?

Alani hasn’t been the same since her abduction but she makes sure she appears ok so that her family and friend won’t worry. She knew that Jackson wanted her but she fought it until she shows up at his home and finds him alone and desperate for her. But instead of it going the way she thought it would, Jackson remembers nothing. Not the sweet words he spoke in her ear or the oh so naughty things he did to her body, so she distances herself again, only to find that Jackson has other ideas.

Together along with Trace, Alani’s brother and Dare, Trace’s partner, they work together and try to find out who could have drugged Jackson. And then they find out there’s a much bigger picture, one that involves everyone and no one is safe until they can stop it.

Ah, I loved this book. Alani has been a major part of this whole series. First being the reason Dare goes to Mexico and finds his wife, then as Trace’s sister and now as the main leading lady. I gotta say, she’s a very well thought out and well written character. Her issues are that of many many women out there so I’m sure it’s very easy to relate to her and her past issues and aside from those issues she’s a very strong woman who takes no crap from the men in her life. Jackson, well let’s just say he’s is a real man. Even before he knew he had Alani he still took care of her by checking on her, watching over her when her brother couldn’t, heck even when Trace could Jackson was still there, making sure Alani was safe and happy. Their coming together was beautiful even marred by the beginning, which you’ll just have to read for yourself because I’ll be posting no spoilers. ;)

Overall, I would recommend this book, this entire series to anyone who loves their romance with a little bit of suspense and a whole lot of sexy, steamy loving!
