Review - "Dreamfever" by Karen Marie Moning

Dreamfever
(Fever #4)
Publishing Date: 10/26/10
Publisher: Delacorte Press
Genre: Urban Fantasy & Paranormal Romance
Source: Kindle Edition

Description:
MacKayla Lane lies naked on the cold stone floor of a church, at the mercy of the erotic Fae master she once swore to kill. Far from home, unable to control her sexual hungers, MacKayla is now fully under the Lord Master’s spell.…In New York Times bestselling author Karen Marie Moning’s stunning new novel, the walls between human and Fae worlds have come crashing down. And as Mac fights for survival on Dublin’s battle-scarred streets, she will embark on the darkest—and most erotically charged—adventure of her life.
He has stolen her past, but MacKayla will never allow her sister’s murderer to take her future. Yet even the uniquely gifted sidhe-seer is no match for the Lord Master, who has unleashed an insatiable sexual craving that consumes Mac’s every thought—and thrusts her into the seductive realm of two very dangerous men, both of whom she desires but dares not trust.
As the enigmatic Jericho Barrons and the sensual Fae prince V’lane vie for her body and soul, as cryptic entries from her sister’s diary mysteriously appear and the power of the Dark Book weaves its annihilating path through the city, Mac’s greatest enemy delivers a final challenge.…
It’s an invitation Mac cannot refuse, one that sends her racing home to Georgia, where an even darker threat awaits. With her parents missing and the lives of her loved ones under siege, Mac is about to come face-to-face with a soul-shattering truth—about herself and her sister, about Jericho Barrons…and about the world she thought she knew.

My Review:
(Originally Reviewed on Mrs. Papillion aka "The Book Worm")
First and foremost let me just say, what I a cliffhanger. Geez...Karen Marie Moning...you definitely know how to make a woman pull out her hair when it comes to a book and this book did just that. My thoughts on the beginning of the book, yummy, sexy, Mackayla is one lucky woman. My thoughts on the middle of the book, Wow, how in the heck did Mackayla have powers like that now. My thoughts on the ending of the book...un-friggin'-believable. Really? Now I have to wait to read the next book because my line of books I'm currently reading are taking precedence, especially since their ARC's. EEEEKKKK!!! I could just scream over "Dreamfever".
Another thing that had me upset, on the edge of my seat was what the heck is the Lord Master after. That evil villian needs to get his story straight. He is really pissing me off. Then to find out something else about him at the end of the book about Mackayla. I could kick his ass for Mackayla. How dare him?
Barrons...the subject...that I've been wondering since the first book. Karen will you ever reveal what Barrons is. I did like the scenes with Mackayla and him. It's about friggin' time. That man has stolen my heart even though I still don't know if he's good or evil. Karen definitely knows how to write her Men.
Mackayla...her character has gotten stronger in this book and I was so happy about it. She definitely is out for revenge now on what was done to her in this book. I'm ROOTING for you MAC!! Don't you dare give up!! I'm really looking forward to the next book not only because of the cliffhanger from this book....but I want to know what happens with all the characters.
Thank you Karen for writing this series. You definitely take the fairy world to whole different level and I love it!!!
