Desperately Wanting Wednesday: Books that give me evil thoughts...

Desperately Wanting Wednesday is not only for releases that we're waiting on, it’s also for already released novels that we just haven’t purchased yet, or gotten to.

Anna's Picks

Echoes at Dawn
(KGI #5)
by: Maya Banks

I can't begin to tell you how much I love this series!  The last book, Whispers in the Dark was my favorite so far but I already know that as soon as I read Echoes, it'll be my new fave.  I kinda have a thing for Rio.  LOL Grace is one lucky girl to get him!!!  I can't wait to read it!!!!

Grace Peterson is desperate, in hiding, and on the run after escaping a shadowy group determined to exploit her extraordinary ability to heal others. Her only lifeline - an unerring telepathic ability she shares with her sister - has been severed, leaving her alone and vulnerable. And time is fast running out...
Enlisted to bring Grace home is Rio, relentless member of the KGI. He's unprepared for his reaction to this wounded, damaged woman, and he's fiercely determined to protect her from those who nearly destroyed her. In Rio, she finds a safe haven, and for the first time...hope. But the mission is far from over. The danger Grace has eluded is fast closing in. And now it's pitching two lovers toward an unfamiliar horizon, with no place left to hide

 Nautier And Wilder
(Nauti #7 & Wild Riders #6)
by: Lora Leigh & Jaci Burton

I also love these two series, Nauti Boys (Leigh) and Wilder Riders (Burton), SO much!  But hands down, the Nauti Boys are my favorite alpha males in these types of romance novels.  I am SO excited to get another story but annoyed that I have to wait until December.  :(  This is one book I would probably talkie another just to get my hands on it.  LOL

Two hot talents. Two new novellas. One big sexy package.
From the authors of Nauti and Wild come two all new novellas. Lora Leigh returns to the sexy world of her New York Times bestselling Nauti series, while Jaci Burton revisits the scorching setting of her Riding series.
Gabriel Royce, the new detective assigned to Somerset’s police department, a former Marine that once fought with the Mackay cousins, has finally found a home to call his own. A wanderer and a man that’s never known stability, until the mountains of Kentucky surrounded him and one woman began to work her way into his heart.
A woman with secrets, and a family determined to keep those secrets hidden. But someone else knows the truth, just as they know the connection she has to the Mackays. A connection that’s now endangering her life.

No description of the  Wild Rider's half! :(

 Wicked Nights
by: Gena Showalter
Publishing Date: June 26, 2012

Seriously, a new Series by Gena Showalter.  I will be beyond jealous when I see other bloggers reading this book before I can.  I love Gena Showalter and can't wait to read about Angels from her.  =)

From the New York Times bestselling author who brought you the Lords of the Underworld comes a dark, seductive new series featuring angels poised on the brink of destruction....   Leader of the most powerful army in the heavens, Zacharel has been deemed nearly too dangerous, too ruthless-and if he isn't careful, he'll lose his wings. But this warrior with a heart of ice will not be deterred from his missions, at any cost...until a vulnerable human tempts him with a carnal pleasure he's never known before. Accused of a crime she did not commit, Annabelle Miller has spent four years in an institution for the criminally insane. Demons track her every move, and their king will stop at nothing to have her. Zacharel is her only hope for survival, but is the brutal angel with a touch as hot as hell her salvation-or her ultimate damnation?

 Savage Hunger
by: Terry Spear
Publishing Date: October 2012

I've been a fan of Terry Spear for awhile now and when I found out she was writing about Jaguar Shifters next for a series...I got really EXCITED.  =)
I have to wait until October though.  Boo!!  I'll be stalking Netgalley around August/September to see if the book will be in there...and if isn't.  I guess I can patiently wait for this book to come out for my Kindle.  =(

In the heat of the jungle, jaguars are clawed, dangerous, and hungry for love. With hopes of overcoming night terrors and thanking the man who saved her life, Kathleen McKnight returns to the Amazon. A jaguar at heart, Connor Anderson doesn’t just protect her, but wants to claim her for his own.

Kiss the Dead
(Anita Blake #21)
by: Laurell K. Hamilton
Publishing Date: June 5, 2012

I'm going to be serious with this book...I will be putting down ALL other books when I purchased this book in June.  No lie!  Sorry...but Anita Blake books take priority since I've been a fan ever since I picked up the first book a couple of years ago.  It only took me a couple of books to read the first 18 book in the series.  Yes...I'm that serious about this series.  I've never known of other bloggers getting ARCs on these books...but we'll see this year, if they do.  Laurell likes to debut it the day it comes out and likes to keep secrets too.  I will be the jealous reader if someone does get their hands on it early.  I'm in love with Nataniel in this book and I need my fix of him soon.  LOL

When a fifteen-year-old girl is abducted by vampires, it’s up to U.S. Marshal Anita Blake to find her. And when she does, she’s faced with something she’s never seen before: a terrifyingly ordinary group of people—kids, grandparents, soccer moms—all recently turned and willing to die to avoid serving a master. And where there’s one martyr, there will be more. But even vampires have monsters that they’re afraid of. And Anita is one of them...

I can not wait for kiss the dead to come out i have read every book she has 3 times over i am a huge fan. I agree with you i will not be able to put it down.
