Feature & Follow # 1

Follow Friday is a blog hop hosted by two blogs, Alison of Alison Can Read and Rachel of Parajunkee.
It is a weekly meme created to influence community among blogs -- the concept -- I follow you and you follow me. Win, win!

How it works:
-Visit these two great blogs!
-Leave your name on the post.
-Create a post on your own blog that links back to the post (just grab the FF button) visit as many blogs as you can and tell them hello! In their comments.
-Be sure to follow them and if someone follows you follow back!!!!

Define what characteristics your favorite books share. Do they all have a kick ass heroine or is the hot love interest the Alpha Male?

 Anna's Answer:

I tend to lean more towards small women and the big, tall, over the top alpha males. I'm a small woman and just the idea of a big gorgeous man who towers over me....YUM!   I especially like the big highlanders in Karen Moning's Highlander series. They're just so much fun to read about.

 FranJessca's Answer

I don't think my favorite books share any characteristics.  I tend to read all kinds of books (of course depending on my mood).  I love Alpha Males and Kick Ass Heroines.  I also like wimpy Males and annoying Heroines.  It just depends on how the book is written and if it keeps my attention.  I do tend to love more characters more than others though...for example, the submissive Nathaniel in the Anita Blake Series, who I wish was real *sigh* and Evil-Ass Lothaire in the IAD Series *HOTT*.

Anna, haha I love your answer! I wouldn't mind a big gorgeous man who towers over me too!

FranJessca, I don't think my favorite books have characteristics as well. I agree with you about the kick-ass heroines and Alpha Male!

New follower!

LOL, I am also a small female, so I tend to gravitate towards heroines that share that same trait as well :)

There is something to be said about a tall, dark, handsome, strong lead male. But, I'm inline with FranJessca. I love all kinds!

Thanks for stopping by and following my blog! I followed ya back!

I actually don't really have a specific preference. I'd prefer to have a man who was taller than me, obviously, but I've never been short for my age. New follower!

Big strong men? Grrr baby grrrr! I'm only 5'1 so everyone towers over me, I am SO WITH YOU on your answer, Anna!
FranJessica, I find myself loving evil characters...I don't know why.

I am definitely all about the tall men! Of course, I'm 5'9" so my threshold for tall is a bit higher than most women, haha. I'd like to be able to wear 4" heels and STILL have him tower over me! :P

I'm a new follower! :) (And by the way, I LOVE your freebie Friday feature, what an awesome idea!)

Hey! Thanks for stopping by!
Good answers on both parts. Except I can't deal with annoying heroines. :-P They just get under my skin like crazy!

Happy reading!
