My Review:
(Originally Reviewed on Mrs. Papillion aka "The Book Worm")
Finally the story about Regin the Radiant, who was always being talked about in the other books and now she finally gets her love story. It's about time. =) Boy...am I glad how she ended up falling in love. Delcan Chase...a Man who has always been in her life...well, technically not him, but he has been re-incarnated a lot to be with Regin. Regin doesn't want to rekindle those deep love feelings due to the fact she'll end up losing him again. Declan just wants to destroy her because that is what he's supposed to do. He's not supposed to love her...but he ends up falling in love with her...again. He just doesn't realize it's again, until later on. I love how Kresley Cole writes this story and I'm so glad she finally tells the story about Regin who has been one of my fave characters in the series since I first read about her. She's one tough woman who definitely gets what she wants. I give this book 5 full moons because again, this is one book that had me on the edge of my seat and who could go wrong with Kresley Cole's writing. She knows how to make a woman want more out of a book.

My Review:
(Originally Reviewed on Mrs. Papillion aka "The Book Worm")
My thoughts about Malkom and Carrow: All I can say is that they are in love and they are PERFECT for each other. From the moment Carrow and Malkom meet each other, it's a match made in HEAVEN. And yes I said Heaven. Malkom is the tough loving guy who will protect you to the very end, even though he's been through a lot. Carrow loves her loved ones and will do anything for them since she has been kidnapped and so has her adopted daughter. She is forced to bring Malkom back to her world because he is a VENOM and believe me, he's different from any VENOM. He has never been caught and he defied everything, until he meets the Witch who strolls him away from everything he's ever known. Now they both need to face it and realize they are in LOVE with each other. I have to say Malkom has become one of my FAVE male characters in the Immortals After Dark Series. He sounds very Yummy, is strong and very loving to whoever he cares about.
Thanks to Kresley Cole for letting me have a fix of Immortals After Dark. I have to give the book 5 stars and two thumbs up because I couldn't put it down. It took me awhile to read, but that's because I was super busy the last couple of months. When I finally finished it was upset. I loved this book and I recommend it to anyone to read. Can't wait for the next book in the series...which will be about one of my other FAVE female characters. I can't wait!!!

My Review:
(Originally Reviewed on Mrs. Papillion aka "The Book Worm")
Oh, yes...a WEREWOLF Lover again and a VERY determined Huntress who will stop at nothing to complete her task that she's been doing for a LONG time. These two are a riot. They both are difficult in my opinion, but I love them for it. Garreth will do anything to be with his WOMAN and Lucia doesn't want anything to do with him. She wants to complete what she must finish. She must finally succumb to Gareth's wishes for him to protect her and then she also discovers the power that she was given, really will never leave her. I won't go into too much detail because I'll give away the story. I loved this story and I loved Lucia. I still can't believe on what actually happened to her in her past and now I understand why she doesn't want to fall in love or trust anyone. Garreth has been searching for the one for awhile and I'm glad he finally meets Lucia and finds out she's his. They both are meant to be.
Again, thanks to Kresley Cole for this amazing storyline. I will love to meet her one day and find out how she came up with these characters and their world. Every book I read from her, feels like I'm right there with the characters. Thank you again, Kresley Cole for getting me sucked into this WORLD of yours that you created.

"NEW YORK TIMES "AND "USA TODAY "BESTSELLING AUTHOR GENA SHOWALTER puts a daring spin on a tale of huntress and hunted . . . and concocts a sensual chemistry that is positively explosive.

 My Review:
(Originally Reviewed on Mrs. Papillion aka "The Book Worm")
Let me just say these two authors can sure make someone fall out of their seat or even bed with the books they write.
Untouchable by Kresley Cole
First let me just say, Kresley Cole's story about Murdoch and Dani was VERY Interesting. Murdoch a Vampire who was changed back in the day and Dani of course knew about him beforehand. Dani is half-valkyrie and half ice fae. She cannot be touched by anyone otherwise her skin will burn and it's truthfully painful. Murdoch will do anything to be able to touch Dani. They both are in love with each other and they are trying to figure out why they are drawn to each other from the beginning of the book to the end. Of course Crazy Nyx shows up in this book, but she's not very helpful at first to help Dani or Murdoch on their quest. Dani is trying to stay safe from the Ice Fae King who wants her dead and who killed her Mother. Murdoch is there to help her. This was a book of Love, betrayal and courage for both Murdoch and Daniela. I recommend reading this story, but if you haven't read the whole series to Kresley Cole's Immortal After Dark, you need to read the first book..otherwise you won't get the gist of what's going on in the series.
Tempted Me Eternally by Gena Showalter
Onto Gena's story in the book...which entails Aleaha and Breean. Oh Wow...these two are perfect together. Breean is a Golden-Skin Commander and all he wanted for his people was a new home away from the Queen who had killed most of his people. Aleaha is posing as Macy and she's a AIR agent. She believes no one knows she can shapeshift into other people until she meets Breean...He can see right through it and from the moment he meets her he is absolutely infatuated with her. Aleaha is holding back her feelings because she doesn't want to get to close to anyone. Breean kidnaps her and some of her fellow agents. She is all bent to saving her friends and getting away from Breean before she does something she might regret. By the end of the story, you realize why these two were meant to meet and there's also several other twists in regarding the AIR agents. I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't read this book first before Seduce the Darkness because Aleaha and Breean already show up as a couple in Seduce the Darkness and I was confuse at first when I read this story about them...but it actually got me thinking on what really happened in Seduce the Darkness.
Now all I can say is I wish Kresley Cole and Gena Showalter would get together and write a book together because both of them are AWESOME together. Thank you both for giving me my fix on Immortal After Dark Series and Alien Huntress Series fix. Can't wait to read your next books in the series real soon. =)

"Lothaire" by Kresley Cole - Reviewed by FranJessca

Lothaire
(IAD #12)
Publishing Date: 1/10/12
Publisher: Gallery
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Source: Kindle Edition (Bought)

Description:
ALL FEAR THE ENEMY OF OLD
Driven by his insatiable need for revenge, Lothaire, the Lore’s most ruthless vampire, plots to seize the Horde’s crown. But bloodlust and torture have left him on the brink of madness—until he finds Elizabeth Peirce, the key to his victory. He captures the unique young mortal, intending to offer up her very soul in exchange for power, yet Elizabeth soothes his tormented mind and awakens within him emotions Lothaire believed he could no longer experience.
A DEADLY FORCE DWELLS WITHIN HER
Growing up in desperate poverty, Ellie Peirce yearned for a better life, never imagining she’d be convicted of murder—or that an evil immortal would abduct her from death row. But Lothaire is no savior, as he himself plans to sacrifice Ellie in one month’s time. And yet the vampire seems to ache for her touch, showering her with wealth and sexual pleasure. In a bid to save her soul, Ellie surrenders her body to the wicked vampire, while vowing to protect her heart.
CENTURIES OF COLD INDIFFERENCE SHATTERED
Elizabeth tempts Lothaire beyond reason, as only his fated mate could. As the month draws to a close, he must choose between a millennia-old blood vendetta and his irresistible prisoner. Will Lothaire succumb to the miseries of his past . . . or risk everything for a future with her?

My Review:
I seriously thought that Kresley Cole couldn't pull off the "Lothaire" book.  I thought she was going to make Lothaire a pansy...or change his personality....but I definitely was wrong.  She not only kept Lothaire, his evil self...but she brought us into his world and what made him tick.  I'm so glad she didn't change him.  I would've been so upset with her.  This book makes me LOVE Kresley even more as a writer.  She never disappoints.  She is one writer out there, that will make you wanting more.  She also makes you think your actually in the book.  I don't know how many times, I found myself dreaming about "Lothaire".  I don't know what it is about a Male who is such a ASS-hole and so evil...that makes him so attractive to me.
The female character, Elizabeth, didn't disappoint either.  She was Lothaire's complete opposite, and it worked out perfectly.  She's a down to earth country girl who just wants her life normal again.  Instead, she has a evil sorceress in her.  I don't know how many times poor Elizabeth had to deal with Lothaire and his mean ways...but she knew how to piss him off too.
I loved the story to Lothaire and finding out what made him the way he is and also getting a sneak peek into Kresley Cole's new Series coming this Summer.
One of my favorite quotes to the book is actually from Crazy-Nix (if you don't know who Nix is...you need to read this series...she's one character that Kresley needs to write a book for).
“You gave her your heart, and she gave you the bird.” Nïx sighed. “Songs will be written about this.” from "Lothaire" by Kresley Cole
This book has definitely become one of my favorites and I look forward to the new Series coming out.  I also look forward to the next book in the IAD Series.
Recommend to this book to anyone who has read the series before and to anyone who loves a EVIL Vampire who you will love to hate.
