A Hero's Blog Hop
Welcome to our stop on the Hero's Blog Hop! This hop is being hosted by Carrie Ann Ryan and the theme is for bloggers to tell about their favorite hero's and for authors to talk about their own Heroes from the Heroes POV. And we also have a pretty awesome giveaway so make sure you check it out and fill out our rafflecopter below, and also check out the big prizes too!
Anna
My favorite kind of Hero is the wounded Hero, like in Pamela Clare's Skin Deep. Nate was so intense about everything and I have no idea why but I SO love that! Maybe it's because that intensity isn't only in his attitude but also his actions, like say making love. ;) And oh there's just something about a man that is not only wounded on the outside but wounded on the inside and watching the heroine "patch" him up, it just makes for a great story!
I wish I could tell about all of my favorites but Nate is most definitely #1 for me right now so I'll just leave it at that! :)
Franjessca
My favorite kind of hero is the hero that is in "Let Me In" by Callie Croix, who is always there for the heroine even when she doesn't want his help or is scared on what the hero will think when he finds out what the heroine has gone through and still goes through.
Liam definitely touched my heart from the beginning when he was there for Talia when she thought no one was going to be there for her when she got off the airplane. She also never expected he would be there for her through everything she was going through with her Mom and everything else. Liam just wanted her to let him in and he would do anything to make her realize it.
He even had me at the moment when he took control of everything in the bedroom. *sigh* He definitely has a piece of my heart forever and so does any hero like him in other books. =)
Giveaway
Every blog in this hop has it's own giveaway. Ours will be an e-book copy of Skin Deep by Pamela Clare and an e-book copy of Let Me In by Callie Croix. You must fill out our rafflecopter below to enter for these 2 books.

Description
Megan doesn’t trust men and aside from her brother and his
friend, she never let’s them touch her. Her past has taken care of that. When
she’s attacked by someone from that past and a handsome, but scarred , man
saves her and her little girl, she has her first moment of real attraction…to
him! She’s frightened but for some reason with him around, she isn’t thinking about
much other than his incredible body and how comfortable and safe she feels with
him. Maybe it is possible for her to trust a man, if only she could get past
all of the bad things she didn’t in her past…
Wounded war veteran Nathaniel West has gotten used to being
a freak, having strangers stare and point at him because half of his body and
face are covered in burn scars. It doesn’t mean he likes it though, so he
spends most of his time at home on his family’s ranch. When he meets beautiful Megan
and she looks at him, really looks at him, and isn’t disgusted, he finds he
needs to help her. Keep her safe.
Can Nate leep Megan and her daughter safe and still manage
to open his heart to her? Can Megan get over her past mistakes and finally love
a man?
Review
This was an incredible story! I love Pamela’s I-Team series
so I was SO excited when this came out, it’s a story I’ve been dying to finally
read! We first met Megan in Unlawful Contact, which was her brother Marc and
Sophie’s story. She was a very wounded girl back then so it’s nice to see her
standing on her own and actually doing well. I feel kind of proud of her for
taking care of herself and her daughter all by herself with everything she’s
been through. But she’s a very strong woman and with her brother and his
friends behind her, it’s no wonder she’s doing well.
Now for Nate…what a man…he is one of my favorite heroes! Honorable
to a fault, completely loyal and so freaking sweet! I want one just like him!
*sigh* I love that he’s wounded, not that he got wounded, but it’s kind of
fitting for a woman like Megan, who’s got so many invisible scars to fall for a
man who is covered in visible scars and the fact that he got those scars doing
something so courageous like fighting for our country! (Have I mentioned I want
one just like him?) Once he fell, he fell hard and I was so happy for them both
to have finally found someone that can fit so well into each other’s lives.
I give this book 5 Moons because well, I loved it! Pamela’s
writing is amazing as always and the story totally pulls you in, just like
always. So I recommend everyone who enjoys a good quick romantic suspense story
to read this book! Soon! It really is that good! I can’t wait for the next
one!!!
