My Review:
I read this on a road trip to Richmond, VA and this book happens to be based in Richmond since that is where Alana Shelton goes to Reckless Beat's concert.  (Coincidence...I think not...Hubs had a convention to go to and I found the opportunity to finally read the book)  =)

Eden Summers you know how to write a book...my dear.  I LOVED every part of this book and now I am officially a groupie of the band "Reckless Beat" even when they are fictional.
My husband kept given me the strange eyes and asking me why I was constantly smiling/giggling while reading on the trip to Richmond.  Oh...if only he knew.  I could not share with him what I was reading due to little ears listening at the time in the car.  This is not a book you share with your children around.

Alana Shelton has lived a sheltered life and when she meets the sexy guitarist, Mitchell Davis for the first time, she is about to find out what she has been missing out on.  She was taught by her mother that men are not to be trusted, but Mitchell proves her Mom's theories wrong.  Mitchell takes care of Alana due to an incident he put her in.  He has never felt this way with a woman before.  The minute Mitchell spots Alana in the crowd in front of him, while he is performing, he is determined to meet her.  There is something about Alana and he feels maybe if he has one night with her, she will get out of his system.  Unfortunately...he never expected what happened to happen.
His band mates are even telling him that he should not just walk out of Alana's life due to his possessiveness and love he keeps showing for her.

Mitchell...what can I say about the sexy guitarist, who stole my heart the minute Eden described him...he definitely won my heart.  He was very protective and caring of Alana.  He even took it slowly with Alana at first and it was Alana, who wanted more.
Alana was such a sweetheart.  She had no idea who to trust after she found out certain lies that came to surface.  I would have reacted the same way she did.
Blake...is one character I want more of.  The scene between him, Mitchell, and Alana would probably have some people reacting differently, but he was such a sweetie to Alana and he busted Mitchell several times.  He literally got Mitchell to realize what would happen if he walked away from Alana.
I want more of Blake.  He definitely deserves someone to love.

Eden did a fabulous job on the first book to the Reckless Beat novels.  I loved page in this book and the steamy scenes...let's just say I wish I would have not read on a road trip.  I needed a cold shower after several of the scenes.  One in particular between three characters.  Oh boy!!!  That is the scene where my husband caught me smiling like the cheshire cat in Alice in Wonderland.

I give this book 5 full moons and highly recommend it to contemporary romance readers and readers who love sexy rockstars in their books.  You will fall madly in love with the band members of Reckless Beat.
Just fair warning, I have dibs on Blake.  =)

My Review:
This is my second book by Eden Summers that I have read and she definitely kept me turning the pages again.  "Conceal Desire" is one sexy, steamy emotional book that will make your emotions go haywire.  I know there were times I wanted to go through the book and slap some characters around for what they were doing or not doing.  (One character who seriously was going to get slapped was Max Sutherland....I despised him)

Beth Graison has worked at Sutherland & Son for awhile now and she has always respected the Sutherland guys at work...until Max Sutherland gives her a proposition, which makes her question his integrity and it bothers her more than it should.  She then becomes traumatized on what Max offers her and ends up doing something that is not normal of her doing.  Dean Sutherland, son of Max Sutherland, ends up helping her out because he has never seen Beth out of sorts.  He has always seen her smiling and hard at work in the company.
Beth has been in love with Dean since the first day she started working at the company.  Unfortunately, Dean is her boss and he has been labeled as a player with the ladies. Beth does not want to get involved with a boss and does not want to ruin her career.  Until, the one day that Dean helps her, she realizes that Dean may have another side that other women do not know about.  She's not sure if their connection is real and if Dean is just playing her around like the other women.  Beth is about to find out how Dean really feels about her.

I do not want to tell more about the storyline because I am afraid I'll give too much away.  I loved reading "Concealed Desire".  I could have read it in one sitting, but of course having two girls and a husband who love to interrupt while I'm reading....it was not possible this week.
Dean Sutherland was one sexy male, who definitely could win me over anytime.  He was such a sweetie with Beth, even when he did not know what to say because he never was in a relationship before.
Beth though was hard headed when it came to Dean and I wish she would have listened to what Dean had to say in the beginning.
I was a little upset on what Dean's father, Max was trying to propose to Beth and I was even more upset with what Dean's father did before to Dean.  What kind of Dad does that to their son and he wondered why Dean did not want to be close to him?  Grrrr!!

Eden Summers definitely is one author who is an auto buy for me.  Her first book I read, "Sneaking a Peek" had me jumping in a cold shower after I read it and "Concealed Desire" definitely had its moments as well.
If you are a fan of Eden Summers previous books you will definitely love "Concealed Desire".
I recommend this book to contemporary romance readers out there everywhere.

-The best part of the book was the ending with what Dean kept doing to Beth whenever he asked her something.  (You'll have to read it to find out)-

My Review:
I was looking for a short, sexy, steamy read for over the weekend and I definitely found what I was looking for in "Sneaking a Peek" by Eden Summers.
The cover alone had me wanting to read it and then I read the description and I knew it was a book I needed to squeeze in before reviews for blog tours.

"Sneaking a Peek" is about a guy and a girl who have had feelings for each other since they were teens.  They never hooked up though because of a certain person not wanting them to get together.
Tarney Jensen had moved back to town after college and found herself moving in next door to her best friend's brother's house.  She has always had a major crush on Ethan who is now a sexy firefighter.  She never hooked up with him because of her best friend telling her to stay away from her big brother and her conscious telling her, she did not want to ruin a perfect friendship with Ethan.
Ethan who has known Tarney since she was a teenager has always had an eye on her and just never made a move because of his little sister.  He also would see men come in and out of Tarney's life and did not feel it was destined for them to be together.  When Tarney moves in next door, he never realized one night of him working out would bring Tarney into his arms due to her having a fall where he needs to help her.
Of course he finds out that the little minx has actually been spying on him while he works out.
He is trying to fight his attraction for Tarney when he's taking care of her after her fall, but he is kind of hard to keep feelings at bay for so long.

Eden Summers is now a auto-buy Author for me.  I absolutely LOVED "Sneaking a Peek".  Thanks to the show "Chicago Fire", I have been wanting to read a great sexy firefighter story and this definitely quenched my thirst for awhile with Ethan being a sexy firefighter.  *sigh* =)
After reading "Sneaking a Peek", I really needed a cold drink and a cold shower.  This definitely had some steamy scenes to it between Ethan and Tarney.  Oh boy!!!
I love stories that have friends come together as well and this definitely was a relationship that was long overdue.  You could tell by reading that both of these characters were in love from the beginning with each other and when they finally hooked up, it was like a volcano exploding between them both.
If you are looking for a short, steamy read this is a definite must-read for anyone.
Be ready for some moments where you will need to be hosed down and be prepared to laugh as well because Eden Summers definitely puts some humor between the characters as well.
I even teared up towards the end on what Tarney thought Ethan did after they made love the first time.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves erotica and wants a quick read before bed time...just be warned, you may need to cool off afterwards.
(Warning do not read this book while you have kids around, like I did.  I think I snapped at my oldest every time she tried to interrupt me while reading "Sneaking a Peek".  I made it up to her when we later on watched movies on Netflix together and had ice cream cake.  LOL)

I saw this book on my Facebook newsfeed one morning and could not resist the temptation of not drooling at my computer.  I am fascinated with firefighters right now it seems...thanks to the show, Chicago Fire and now I must read every contemporary romance book out there that involves firefighters.  Seriously...who loves Firefighters?  *sigh*
I'll definitely be reading this book real soon.  =)
