We do not want to wake up one day and notice that we cannot logon to our blog due to Blogger changing its policies.
We have worked too hard to have that happen...so it is long overdue, we have moved over to our domain.
It will make it easier for YA'LL to find us.
We have already started to post over at the new site...and August 1st will be official day we say GOODBYE to this site for good.

Olde City, New Blood Mini Con (My first Convention) + Surprise Giveaway (Part One)

Interview with Gena Showalter + Surprise Giveaway
I (FranJessca) had one of my dreams come true because I got to interview another one of my TOP Fave Authors (who happens to be on my auto-buy list). I think I would literally faint if I ever met her in person. She is definitely an amazing PNR Author. My hubby is even jealous because whenever he sees me reading one of Gena's book he knows it will be one lonely night for him. =)

A. I’ve just discovered a love for cooking, and apparently I have been complimenting myself a little too much. If my family hears, “Isn’t that wonderful? Just the best! Aren’t I the best cook ever?” one more time, I’m not sure what will happen.
B. I’m head over heels in love with my new German Shepherd
C. Last year (just for grins and giggles) my husband and I stole my parents Christmas yard decorations and placed them in our yard. Mom and Dad came over for a party, and there Mr. and Mrs. Claus were, taunting them.
D. I’m a huge fan of the show New Girl (I want Jess and Nick to get married and have a thousand babies)

2. How do you keep everything in order, you tend to write several books/series at once, how do you keep up with the previous characters and also create new ones?
Each series is set in a different type of world with different “rules.” Lords of the Underworld and Angels of the Dark – modern day with ancient warriors, demons and good against evil. Alien Huntress and Otherworld Assassins – near future with fun little toys (like pyre-guns), and a hipper vernacular. White Rabbit Chronicles – high school, firsts, and zombies. Those differences make it waaaay easier to keep things straight.
3. You have your next release "Beauty Awakened" in the Angel of Dark Series coming out, without giving too much away, what can readers expect?
The book features the scarred and powerful Koldo, a warrior known for his legendary control. No one knows he lives only for vengeance, determined to punish the angel who viciously removed his wings. If he yields to the forces of hatred, he will be kicked from the heavens, eternally damned. Nicola Lane is his last hope. Though she was born with a defective heart, this fragile human shows surprising strength as demons stalk her every move, determined to end her. She is the key to Koldo's deliverance...and his downfall. Though he fights duty, destiny and his first addictive taste of desire, his toughest battle will be the one for Nicola's life--even if he has to sacrifice his own....
4. Who designs your covers for your books because I have to say, everyone of them are GORGEOUS? (my husband even tends to get jealous over them)
The publishers have designed them all. I got to help conceptualize Last Kiss Goodnight, and I helped pick the model for Alice in Zombieland, but for the most part, the publisher has taken care of the details.
5. Do any of our favorite Lords of the Underworld make an appearance in "Beauty Awakened"?
You’ll find William in Beauty Awakened, and learn another secret about him...
6. If you could be one of your characters (just one), who would you be and why?
I’d want to be Alice from Alice in Zombieland. She’s doing an awesome job of learning to navigate a dark, new world with zombies, she isn’t afraid to throw herself into a battle, and she has the best crew of friends…but mostly because she’s dating sexy bad boy Cole Holland—and I like me some Cole LOL
7. What has been the hardest scene to write in one of your books?
In Beauty Awakened, there is one scene that made me cry when I wrote it—and every time I read it.
8. How do you come up with the names of the characters in your books?
If the names don’t fail to come to me while I’m writing, I get online and search baby name sites. Then, I wait until something strikes my fancy.
9. What is up next for Gena Showalter?
Up next is the release of Last Kiss Goodnight, featuring a twisted menagerie where otherworlders are the main attraction. Any time the zoo is about to be shut down, it vanishes and reappears somewhere else. When black ops agent Solomon Judah’s latest mission is compromised, he wakes up in a cage, the newest “animal” on display. Vika is his new handler—as well as the owner’s deaf daughter, and she’s been tasked with Solo’s care and feeding. As hostility turns to forbidden romance, Solo’s feelings for her will be used against him, and he’ll be put to a killer test.
Then, on February 26th, Beauty Awakened releases.
On July 30th, The Darkest Craving releases. Here’s a little about it:
